Pick the spot
Either fill the entire room or pick a spot strategically. Your chosen spot will depend on the power and number of foggers used, based on your protection strategy.
Attach the fogger
Most of the time you will not need any wall preparation; you simply screw them right in. Most models also work on ceilings. You just need hardware appropriate for your wall type.
Plug it in
Any outlet — or you can hard-wire into a dedicated electrical circuit. 110 V or 220 V versions.
The Ajax™ Activation Method
Easy makes it shine.

Unbox, Protect

Your space and security needs are unique. Our process guides you the best security and the best value. Out-of-the box ready.
BIG SAVINGS
Labor and materials savings. This scenario is dramatically better (by as much as 95%). Total integration cost is often less than traditional alarm integration.
COMPONENT-RICH
We offer several arming, detection and interconnection methods. Key fobs, motions sensors... premium everything.
ROBOT LOGIC
You can tie events together to actuate motors, switch lights, send messages, etc. We pre-configure this logic for you, and you can request changes.

SABOTAGE DETECTION
Most models detect physical attacks, including vibrations and nozzle obstructions. You can run tamper-loops to detect wire cutting. FlashFogs can defend themselves.
BACKUP
Both FlashFog and the Ajax™ can use batteries to deal with power loss or sabotage. You just need to source standard batteries locally.
MULTIPLE SIGNALS
Since any wire that you plug-in works right away, you can add a splicer to any section and have a backup signal travelling down a different path. Add any redundancy.

FAQ's
Can I see some picture examples?
Extensive security fogger gallery.
What if my ceilings are very tall?
Specialized lifting equipment may be needed.
For ceilings over 20 feet, we recommend activating ceiling fans during fog security activations. Electricians set them up easily (even your current fans, if any).
We offer brackets that make it easy to hang units from any height. Hang from wood, concrete or a web ceiling truss.
To keep in mind:
- The installer may need help holding the machine while he fastens it.
- Follow local code regulations for safety lines and allowed weight.
- Not all models support horizontal mounting. Check individual specs
Can I still integrate with my alarm?
Yes. The installer's manual was written for full alarm integration. The Ajax™ is just an alternative.
FlashFog supports two-way communication with the alarm panel, either via the Ajax™ or talking to the alarm panel directly.
Signals originate from the alarm panel. You may wire the components in a 'daisy chain' configuration when needed. We do not recommend use of wireless technology in your high-end security application.
Can we hide the foggers?
YES
- Ceiling installations place the security foggers out of the way.
- Easily done behind a false ceilings.
- Though not done often, folks can place foggers inside a cabinet; just make sure there is room for the security fogger to ventilate.
