FOG JUICE

IT ALL BEGINS WITH THE FOG 'JUICE'

Glycol, glycerin and water

Image

Halloween!

FlashFog builds on proven Halloween smoke technology, popular since the 1940’s.

Halloween!

These droplets are microscopic, 10x smaller! That's why they hang 45 minutes and feel dry.

Lots of it!

Most users get at least five full activation per fluid charge.

Pharma grade

We know it's pure becaue it's made to precise pharmaceutical standards. Both gycol and Glycerin are FDA-approved.

3 years

Installed or not the fluid has a long shelf life. To avoid oxidation it comes in airless bags or aerosol containers.

A sweet smell

The fog is easy to identify. It smells inert, with a hint of candy. Sounds get muffled, adding to the eerie feeling.

$10 / shot (aprox) !

THEN WE ADD

HEAT

When a burglar is foolish enough to try, the fluid is forced under pressure into a high-efficiency heat exchanger, causing an instant two-thousand fold expansion. This explosive gain is what makes it incredibly fast.

The super-efficient heat exchanger uses sensors and a microprocessor to run optimization algorithms in real-time. It’s so efficient that just two table spoons fills an average room. Incredible speed and volume.

Oh, they run

Only entry damage

Crooks still bust doors or windows. Damage is limited to whatever they caused right before the shock, often felt in 5 seconds or less.

No cleanup

Disappears without a trace! Yes,gone !! There is so little fluid flying around that you would have trouble trying to leave a film intentionally. Deposited particles bio-degrade on their own.

SMART

Clean

FlashFog does not leave films, stains or smells. Once the fog is gone you simply can’t tell there was an activation, it’s that clean.

SMART

A food ingredient!

The fog is safe. DJ's and actors and spend considerable time in similar fog. Fire professionals also use it, for training.

False alarms are OK

Full-saturation activations are rare. During the day they can’t happen because the alarm is disarmed, and during the night when they do happen they are not a big deal!

Economical

Partial activations cost a couple bucks. Full ones, where the area is completely obscured average $10. At these prices some customers activate just for kicks!

Most by user error

We have all done it. Waited too long or entered the wrong code and then triggered the alarm. This is by far the biggest cause of false alarms. All you need is the right code.

Fluid tracking

Even in a full activation only a fraction of the fluid is used. If the level is low, you will know. You will hear beeps, and status lights will light up. The internal computer tracks and reports potential issues via alarm panel zones.

Easy to avoid

You can setup your system so that it takes two independent sensors to trigger the FlashFog. This confirmation can hold the fog even if a general alarm has been activated. We actually recommend activating right with the general alarm.

SMART

Not a trap

The area fills so fast that crooks simply don’t get the chance to get in. We prefer to drive them out.

Police get help

Police appreciate having time to arrive. No wonder Richland County police's website links directly to FlashFog !

DAY TO DAY

Transparent

When you arm your alarm, you are also enabling the FlashFog to accept GO commands. Unless specially wired for a panic button, the unit simply will not accept an activation command.

Typical Sequence of Events

1. Store manager ensures there is nobody left in the store 2. Store manager arms alarm by entering security code 3. Burglar waits for most quiet time and makes forceful entry 4. Burglar causes the alarm to activate 5. Alarm system transmits a signal to the Central Station 6. Central Station notifies Police and key holder in accordance to local response policies 7. Alarm panel initiates security fog activation 8. Depending on configuration, the FlashFog can confirm the unauthorized entry independently 9. Fog is ejected at high speed, filling the protected area. On FlashFog sites, security strobe activates simultaneously 10. The fog emission is noticed immediately upon entry. Average fill time is 45 seconds 11. Burglar is faced with the fog / light and makes the choice to go in or not 12. Most burglars leave in the first 10 seconds, and those that do try to stay usually leave in another 20 seconds when they realize stealing is just too hard 13. Police arrive and follow normal procedure, which includes contacting the key holder 14. Police wait until the fog clears, and carry on inspection as usual

We have been learning

FlashFogs have evolved over 4 generations. They used to cost too much for the vast majority, and with usage limitations.
Those obstacles are gone.

Tools left behind!

The burglar ran so fast, that the store owner inherited nice, brand new tools

Common uses

C-Store

One Tiger right above the cash register protects cigarettes and lottery tickets

Usually no need to fill the whole store. Often installed with one SoundWall for extra punch. Add a Lumy lamp for added punch and the ability to illuminate during power cuts

ATM

One Tiger instantly fills the service room of up to four ATMs. Stand alone too..

For freestanding ATMs, where fog is not contained upgrade to a larger model or add a couple SoundWalls.

Pharmacy

One Tiger if concentrating security on the restricted substances cabinet. Whole store sometimes...

The next model, the Panther is often enough to fill the whole behidn the counter area. If staying with the Tiger add one SoundWall for extra punch

Vestibules, Display Cabinets and Store Fronts

Able to "seal" an area and impede access . Fills those small volumes extremely quickly

Gun Stores

One Tiger to completely fill small to medium stores or sections of larger stores

At least one SoundWall recommended too because these burglars are extremely brazen. Make sure to check out the Lumy lamp.

Homes

One per secure room. Great for a panic room, master bedroom, hobby area or a garage

Not suitable for multi-occupancy buildings, especially high rise. Use SoundWalls instead.
